Electronic Invoices with ZUGFeRD / Factur-X

Challenge

Due to legal requirements, the client needed to issue invoices in ZUGFeRD / Factur-X format from an existing custom business application.

Approach

I designed and implemented a module that extracts invoice raw data, transforms it according to the Factur-X specification, and embeds XML payloads into PDF/A documents.
