Independent technical second opinions for strategic IT decisions.

I help companies avoid expensive architecture mistakes, unnecessary complexity, and long-term vendor lock-in before investments are committed and operational risk escalates.

Strategic Architecture Review

Are you planning a Kubernetes rollout, an AI strategy, an event platform, or a cloud migration?

Then get an independent technical second opinion first.

I help you avoid expensive architecture mistakes, unnecessary complexity, and long-term vendor lock-in at an early stage.

Typical focus areas:

  • Introducing AI into real operations: Sovereign AI architectures, secure integration into existing processes, and clear guardrails for data, quality, and operations.
  • Making process platforms effective: Designing workflows, roles, handovers, and integrations so work items are controlled reliably and executed transparently.
  • Running event and messaging architectures reliably: Building distributed data flows with operational resilience, clear governance, and scalable growth without losing control.
  • Modernizing operating platforms: Making platform and infrastructure decisions that align security, maintainability, automation, and adaptability.

How I work

My focus is on architectures that stay understandable, operable, and resilient over time. For me, this is less about a single technology and more about relationships, dependencies, and the realistic amount of complexity an organization can carry.

I treat security, traceability, and operability as core design properties, not optional extras.

Brief background

I have been working with IT systems for more than 25 years, from infrastructure and software engineering to architecture and decision-making in complex environments. I have worked across very different domains, including IT infrastructure, semiconductor manufacturing, pharma, financial services, CAD/CAM, industry, and crafts.
